Who I Am.<\/h4>\n

I\u2019m a transgender, Latina, activist, turned actress from California. Getting to do the job I love and sharing my voice hasn\u2019t been easy, for years my narrative was told for me and did not reflect the abusive and neglectful upbringing I really endured throughout my childhood. To this day I\u2019m working on reclaiming my story and setting my truth free. For even though my story was a lie, upholding that story only taught me more how necessary it is to speak and live in my truth.<\/p>\n

Why do you do what you do?<\/h4>\n

I do what I do because I believe that I can do more of what I want to. I believe it\u2019s about creating the new and not fighting the old. So inevitably I\u2019ll see what I want unfold all around me. Then continue to plant more seeds around me and experience more fruits.<\/p>\n

What was it that prompted the change in your journey?<\/h4>\n

I had only been alive for ten years, for me, that was enough time spent being and living for everyone else. It was either I live for me or I don\u2019t live at all. So I let the people in charge of my livelihood know that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Is a life goal important to you and how would you define this?<\/h4>\n

As a person who lives to experience, goals are extremely important. A life without choice, a life without dreams is meaningless, I believe we can all accomplish our dreams and if I think I can, then I know I will.<\/p>\n

Why is it important to follow your dream and what have you share from this?<\/h4>\n

It\u2019s important to follow your dreams because if you follow your fears then you end up where you don\u2019t want to.<\/p>\n

Where do you go from here, what does the future hold?<\/h4>\n
