We\u2019ve all heard this saying at least once in our life: \u201cOpinions are like a**holes, everyone has them\u201d. We see this play out every day whether it be an opinion about if pumpkin spice lattes are worth the hype or if that viral dress was black and blue or white and gold\u2013 it was definitely blue and black btw. What doesn\u2019t make sense to me is why people who have \u2018negative\u2019 opinions about things, pop culture or otherwise, get a bad rap. It\u2019s okay to not like things!! There are lots of things I don\u2019t like: bananas, slow walkers, soy milk, and don\u2019t even get me started on spaghetti as a pasta choice. You\u2019re lying if you try to tell me there aren\u2019t any things that exit in life that you hate. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows. We all have negative feelings. Maybe some of us feel negatively more often than others, but still. I\u2019m sick of people who try to act positive about everything all the time. Sometimes, hating things is fun. You can create such strong bonds with friends over shared dislikes. I\u2019m not a pessimistic person, but I\u2019m a proud hater.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
