However, this never ends up actually happening; in fact, the opposite often happens and I glow down. I put so much pressure on myself to eat healthy, wake up early, workout everyday, and do so much that I overwhelm myself and end up just laying in bed all day and binging Love Island. I think there&#8217;s a lot of peer pressure on women to have a &#8220;hot girl summer,&#8221; but that is hard when you don&#8217;t feel your best.<\/p>\n<p>Summer used to be my favorite season and it has recently become more and more stressful because of all this pressure to glow up and be my best self.
