I get it, dating when you’re young is really fun. It’s new and exciting and adds a sort of flare to your life that seems like it’s been missing for quite some time. Remember the feeling you got when you went on your first date with that one special person? And another with that other special person? And then the other one with the next person? It was great, right? But, what about the time you actually found that one spark that couldn’t die out? The one where whenever you thought about it, your stomach got butterflies and all you could do was admire the thought of it. Wasn’t that great too? There seems to be a negative stigma surrounding settling down and finding that one right person. It’s almost as if society doesn’t want you to be in love and finally rid yourself of that crazy dating cycle you had in your early 20’s. Now, there’s nothing wrong with casually dating, but people shouldn’t be afraid to let their guard down and let love in. It’s beautiful, it’s kind, it’s calm. So, why not settle?
