“Any One Woman is Worth Any Ten Men” Official!

I work at a Museum and I need to report back to the wider world. Husbands do not have functional arms. I think this is a serious problem that someone should look into, I think husbands must have some sort of disease that makes their arms incredibly weak maybe? Couples would come in and the wives would be like octopi, like on one shoulder is the blue duffel bag, on the same arm there is the baby in a cute little hat, and in the same hand is a bag of wipes she’s holding after cleaning off the spit up. On the other shoulder is the magical handbag probably full of any kind of medication that could ever be needed, a million different snacks she knows her husband and three kids like, keys to the car, etc. On the other arm are all the winter coats shucked off the other children, and in her left hand is her phone, where she is desperately trying to maneuver her thumb to get up the tickets she purchased in advance three weeks ago. I look at the husband pointedly, and they always give a “haha she’s the boss”, to which I never really laugh. The wife hardly ever laughs either. To some extent, some of these women probably are total control freaks, I’ve been there, sometimes they don’t want to delegate, and the husbands just let them do their thing. But also, if you can’t entrust certain roles and responsibilities to your husband, perhaps it’s because he’s never gone out of his way to show you he is competent at wiping the baby’s face, or holding the bags, or keeping track of the family car keys. Food for thought.
