Some Do, Some Don’t; Either Way just say ‘Thank You’My biggest pet peeve: people who don’t hold the door. It’s a simple ask, before you walk through the doorway, look back behind you to make sure that no one else is coming before you move on. And if someone is – pass the door to them! I don’t care if you have to stand there awkwardly for a second or two, just do it – it’s common decency. In the past week, there have been at least a handful of instances where the person in front of me let the door close completely in my face, when I was just a mere few steps behind them. Either that or I was forced to chase after the door to make sure that I caught it before it fully closed. Each time this happened I could feel my blood boil and my palms sweat with anger. I mean come on it’s not that hard to just hold the door!
