There Was No Sex in the City… Literally

I have always loved Carrie Bradshaw and her effortless style, flirting, and curls. I mimicked her, envied her and praised her. She was a character I tried so hard to become, I mean, she even introduced me to Manolos! And while I thank her for all the fashion advice she bestowed upon a generation, what is with her bratty attitude? I wish I never would have stumbled across the side of TikTok that started this conversation because I had never noticed it. TikTok users had come together in sharing the most annoying, self-centered, bratty behaviors of Carrie, and now, I just simply cannot unsee it. Why does she always have to rudely interrupt her friends during their confessions of struggle and compare it to her tired and repetitive stories of Mr. Big? And she is at times a very terrible person! Cheating, lying, and all she did to Aidan (my favorite). How did we all just forgive her so quickly? She is so self-centered it drives me crazy. So, thanks a lot TikTok, you’ve just ruined my favorite show.
